Saudi Arabia assumes Arab Chambers leadership

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has assumed the presidency of the Arab Chambers Union for the years 2026-2030, led by Abdullah Saleh Kaml, succeeding Tunisia. This follows the alphabetical rotation system among Arab countries. The presidency coincides with the implementation of the Union's strategy to enhance Arab economic integration through stimulating investment, developing value chains, and supporting small and medium enterprises, with a focus on Arab joint investment, food security, industrial security, and digital transformation. This step aligns with Saudi Vision 2030's efforts to increase the impact of domestic spending and investment, supported by the Public Investment Fund and the National Development Fund, to strengthen the environment for Arab economic partnerships and competitiveness. Abdullah Saleh Kaml possesses extensive experience in leading private sector institutions at both the Saudi and Gulf levels. He manages the Union and the Islamic Chamber of Commerce and Development, and holds other positions that promote coordination among Arab business communities.
