Lebanese urged to embrace humility and love

The article presents Metropolitan Elias Aouad's speech on the importance of humility and love in human life. It emphasizes that true giving originates from a free and undeserving heart, rather than from material calculations or personal interests. He affirms that mercy requires transforming pain into acts of love, not just fleeting feelings, and that arrogance hinders one’s ability to give genuinely. He also pointed out that pride has led Lebanese people to insult one another under the pretexts of race or knowledge, stressing that all are equal before God. Loving one's enemies does not mean overlooking justice or evil, but rather defending both with wisdom.
