Over 60 quakes in one week

Last week, the Kamchatka region in eastern Russia experienced a series of seismic events, during which seismologists recorded 62 earthquakes. Six of these tremors were felt by residents, with intensities ranging from two to four degrees. Authorities reported frequent tremors, all originating from the waters of the Pacific Ocean, more than 200 kilometers southeast of Petropavlovsk. So far, no direct human casualties or damages have been reported.
