Iran trains women in weapons amid tensions

Iranian sources have reported that Iran has established its first official armed female battalion in Tehran, affiliated with the Basij forces. The aim is to prepare women for participation in national defense and emergency response. The rigorous military training includes the use of weapons and combat equipment. This initiative is part of the "Jan Feda" campaign, which seeks to form around a thousand popular resistance battalions and emergency response units. This move comes amid a decline in Iran's military capabilities, as preparations are underway to face external challenges and internal crises, amid rising tensions with the West and increasing military threats.
