Adnoc to supply 2 million tons gas to Thailand

The Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) has signed an agreement with GULF GULF Group to supply two million tons of liquefied natural gas (LNG) to Thailand, starting from 2027, in order to strengthen its presence in the Asian market. The agreement reflects Thailand's efforts to diversify its gas supply sources following the impacts of the US-Israeli conflict on Iran, as the country currently relies on Qatari shipments. This partnership, which began in 2025, will be extended. ADNOC plans to market 47 million metric tons of gas annually after 2030 through a new liquefied natural gas trading platform, aiming to become one of the leading players in the global market.
