The Lebanese Tobacco and Tobacco Products Control Authority, known as "Rejii," announced the seizure of quantities of smuggled electronic cigarettes, smuggled flavored tobacco, counterfeit products, and forged cigarettes and cigars during a crackdown carried out in the Saliq neighborhood and the R Rowf area in the southern suburbs of Beirut. Additionally, similar products were confiscated in other regions across North Bekaa and Shouf. These raids are part of "Rejii's" ongoing efforts to combat smuggling and counterfeiting. Notices of violation have been issued to the offenders, with legal proceedings underway. The authority also urges citizens to cooperate by reporting suspicious products to help protect consumers and preserve public funds.
