Customs uncover items after worker detention

The Lebanese General Directorate of Customs announced that a large quantity of smuggled Botox and filler products was seized during a raid in the Shweifat area, during which a delivery worker was detained. Investigations confirmed that the smuggled items lacked official documentation proving their legal origin, raising concerns about their quality and safety. The Customs Department urged citizens to verify the source of cosmetic products before use and to avoid potential health risks. They also emphasized their continued efforts to crack down on the smuggling of illegal medicines and cosmetic products.
