Al-Reji recovers smuggled e-cigarettes and hidden shisha in Baalbek

The Lebanese Tobacco and Tobacco Products Control Administration (Regie) announced the seizure of quantities of smuggled electronic cigarettes, smuggled herbal tobacco, and counterfeit products during raids in the Baalbek area, as part of its efforts to combat smuggled and counterfeit tobacco products. They pointed out that official reports regarding the violations are currently under judicial review. The agency also called on citizens to cooperate and report any suspected smuggled or counterfeit products through the emergency hotline 1722, in order to protect consumers and the public treasury from harm.
