The article focused on the efforts of Minister of Education Rima Karamy to save the educational sector in Lebanon, particularly public schools and the Lebanese University, during exceptional and difficult circumstances. The ministry emphasized reducing costs, improving the quality of education, better employment of students, as well as working to reinstate contracted teachers and enhance management by selecting new leaders at the Lebanese University. It also noted that changing the Lebanese University law is considered a wrong step, and that she is working to complete the procedures for appointing the deanship and its nominations, while continuing to support funding for allocations dedicated to individuals with special needs.
