Emirati cyclists excel in Switzerland with 500 riders

The UAE Youth Cycling Team continues to shine during their outdoor training camp in Switzerland, achieving notable results in various races alongside a leading group of international cyclists. In the individual road race held in the Sion area over a distance of 90 kilometers, with more than 500 cyclists participating, the riders secured top positions, providing them with an open competition opportunity without age category divisions. The competitive program will proceed in August with three races, including a criterium, a mountain ascent race, and a long-distance individual race, all aimed at increasing the players' experience. The head of the federation confirmed that these results reflect the progress in the skills of the youth, and that success in these races indicates the effectiveness of the training program, which focuses on building a strong base of cyclists for international competition and representing the UAE with pride in the future.
