Koora Exclusive: Queiroz Nears Arab Job

Portuguese coach Carlos Queiroz, former coach of the Ghana national team, is seeking to take over the Bahrain national team in preparation for the 2027 Asian Cup, following the termination of his contract with the Ghana Football Association due to declining results. He has entered serious negotiations with the Bahrain Football Association, and the matter is expected to be finalized within the coming days. This would mark his fifth stint in the Arab world, after coaching the UAE, Egypt, Qatar, and Oman national teams. Meanwhile, a source denied that Queiroz is close to coaching the Moroccan club Wydad, and dismissed any reports suggesting such a development as false.
