Tunisian Foreign Minister, Mohamed Ali Nafti, led a delegation from Tunisia to participate in the 166th regular session of the Arab League Council at the ministerial level in Cairo, upon the appointment of President Kais Saied. The session is dedicated to discussing the latest developments in the Arab region, particularly the attacks on the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank, as well as issues related to developmental, economic, social, and security cooperation among Arab countries. Tunisia will assume the presidency of the Arab League Council from September 2026 to March 2027, with the aim of strengthening Arab dialogue and coordination, and fostering understanding to collectively and responsibly address challenges. During the meetings, Nafti will also hold bilateral talks with his Arab counterparts.
