Heavy rains cause flooding in Tripoli
Heavy rainfall in Tripoli, Libya, caused floods that inundated the streets, resulting in the death of a bank employee who was electrocuted due to rising water levels and the continued operation of electricity despite warnings. Authorities worked to drain the water and close roads to prevent further dangers, while the floods flooded hospitals and parts of the city. The National Meteorological Center warned of ongoing rainfall in northern regions.
