Heshir/Manouba Infrastructure Concerns

The article focused on the criticisms voiced by residents and civil society activists in Douar Hechir, from the Monastir governorate, regarding the quality of road paving works carried out by the relevant authorities. It was found that workers used asphalt materials in a haphazard manner and paved the roads in ways that did not meet standards, leading to the deterioration of the infrastructure despite the availability of projects and budgets. Member Abdelhamid Al-Khalidi described this as neglect and negligence, emphasizing that the city constantly suffers from infrastructure problems, and that the local council has submitted a petition to the public prosecution to hold those responsible accountable for these breaches.
