Mossariyun Group mourns Mohamed Lakhdar Lalla

The passing of the fighter and prominent figure of the student and progressive movement in Tunisia, Mohamed Lkhder Lalla, who died at the age of several decades. He was one of the historic leaders of student and union struggles, where he fought to defend the independence of the General Union of Tunisian Students. He continued his activism in France alongside the Tunisian diaspora and its migrant workers. He participated in founding the Renewal Movement and the Democratic Socialist Path Party, and until his death, remained one of the leading figures of the "Pathfinders for Correcting the Course" group. His funeral will be held in his hometown of Neftha on October 22, 2026. Many of his comrades and friends have mourned him, expressing their solidarity and praying for his soul to find peace and mercy.
