Abu Dhabi Future Energy Company, "Massar," and the Montenegro Electricity Company, "EPCG," have launched two renewable energy projects with a total capacity of 150 MW. These projects include the development of photovoltaic solar power plants with capacities of 115 MW and 35 MW, along with a study for a pumped-storage hydroelectric power station exceeding 400 MW. The aim of these initiatives is to meet the growing electricity demand in Montenegro, enhance energy security, and support the export of electricity to European markets. This represents an important step in expanding clean energy capacities and strengthening the renewable energy infrastructure in the region. This partnership is part of a plan to increase "Massar"'s project capacity to 100 gigawatts by 2030 and contributes to improving grid stability and promoting sustainable economic growth in Montenegro.
