Western Tunisia wildfire suppression ongoing

A fire broke out in the forests of Jebel Lannaq northeast of Tunisia since Wednesday evening. The Tunisian army is participating with two helicopters in efforts to extinguish it, aiming to prevent its spread to residential areas. The fires were concentrated in the Sidi Abid area in Jendouba Governorate before spreading to the Kreb district in Siliana Governorate.
