The assault took place around 11 p.m., when militants entered the village and attacked residents before fleeing, employing tactics such as operating under the cover of darkness. Six people were killed at the scene, while three others sustained serious injuries; two of them died later, and the remaining individual continued to receive treatment. Additionally, a separate attack occurred in a nearby area targeting a market, shops, and livestock, with no fatalities reported.
