Huawei and HP reach patent licensing deal

Chinese company Huawei and American company HP have signed a global, multi-year mutual patent licensing agreement, under which HP will gain access to Huawei's patents related to Wi-Fi technology. This collaboration is seen as a sign of Huawei's innovative capabilities and technological strength. By the end of 2025, Huawei had signed over 260 licensing agreements with major global companies.
