Members of the Shenzhou-23 crew on the Chinese space station have completed their first extravehicular activity (EVA). They worked for approximately 5.5 hours installing debris protection shields and repairing the solar panels to ensure stable power supply to the station. This is the second such spacewalk conducted by Chinese astronauts in orbit, coming after the spacecraft's launch on May 24 with three astronauts onboard. Other crew activities include cargo transfer, deploying external payloads, practicing rendezvous and docking procedures, and preparing for scientific techniques and experiments in fields such as life sciences, gravitational physics, and technological research.
