Revolutionary Guards Break Up Terrorist Cell in Southeast Iran

The Iranian Revolutionary Guard announced the dismantling of a terrorist cell in the Manzel Ab area of Zahedan in Sistan and Baluchestan Province in southeastern Iran. As a result, six members of the cell were killed during the operation, which also uncovered explosive devices in their possession. These operations are part of an Iranian security campaign along the eastern, southeastern, and northwestern borders, amid escalating tensions with the United States and Israel. There are increasing fears that these regions might be exploited for attacks inside Iran, following a recent explosion near a police facility in Zahedan.
