London accuses Iran of plot Tehran summons UK envoy

British Prime Minister Andy Burnham leveled strong accusations of Iran's involvement in suspicious activities following a major security incident targeting a U.S.-run airbase in Fairford. Ongoing investigations suggest there are indications that Iran was participating in a terrorist plot, leading to diplomatic tensions with Tehran, which summoned the British ambassador and denounced the allegations, dismissing them as baseless claims. British police have currently detained five individuals, including a person holding both Iranian and British citizenship, as part of the investigation, with incendiary materials found in trucks linked to the suspects. Authorities are now examining the possibility of foreign state involvement, while closely monitoring the situation.
