Putin warns West over Kaliningrad
A report indicated that Russian President Vladimir Putin warned the West against escalating the war in Ukraine, reaffirming that Moscow is prepared to use all weapons, including nuclear ones, if the Baltic Kaliningrad enclave is attacked. This came after NATO military exercises near the region, and Putin threatened a comprehensive Russian response if a direct attack occurred on Russian territory, pointing out that escalating the situation threatens regional peace. Putin also acknowledged that Ukrainian attacks on Russian territory have caused Russia economic losses, including approximately 1% of its GDP, but he emphasized his commitment to a military stance while seeking to end the conflict through negotiations.
