UAE: Flydubai assistant pilot involved in terror plot

Investigations by the Public Prosecution in the UAE have revealed that an assistant to the pilot of Fly Dubai attempted to carry out a terrorist act during the flight from Dubai to Tel Aviv. The attacker assaulted the captain with an emergency axe and attempted to take control of the aircraft's controls. The assailant began executing his plan mid-flight, nearly causing a disaster, but the injured captain managed to open the cockpit door. Thanks to the intervention of the passengers and crew, the backup pilots regained control of the plane and safely landed. Investigations are still ongoing to uncover all the details of the incident and its motives, and the final results will be announced once the procedures are completed.
