Israel enforces lockdown on West Bank on October 7 anniversary

Israel has imposed a comprehensive closure on the West Bank and shut down crossings in the Gaza Strip from October 5th to 7th, based on security assessments and efforts to tighten control during the anniversary of the October 7th events. Additionally, the occupation forces have intensified their measures at military checkpoints, launched widespread arrest campaigns resulting in the detention of 15 Palestinians, including journalists, and escalated settler attacks on Palestinian lands. These include land demolitions and assaults on farmers, all in an attempt to halt Palestinian activities and undermine their presence.
