Houthis chase Sana'a residents over Taiz battles

The clashes are intensifying in Taiz Governorate, Yemen, while the Houthi group is launching a widespread campaign of chasing and arrests in Sanaa. This campaign targets individuals suspected of sympathizing with the government forces and the resistance in Taiz. The operation includes house raids, summons, and detentions, amid concerns over ongoing disappearances and the unknown whereabouts of the detainees. The group relies on electronic surveillance, continuously monitoring posts and comments on social media platforms. It also faces human rights norms that advocate documenting violations and crimes it has committed since September, as part of its ongoing military escalation in the region.
