Gaza: 6 deaths, health warns of collapse

During the past few hours, the Gaza Strip has experienced a fierce escalation by Israeli forces, resulting in the martyrdom of six Palestinians and the injury of 19 others in scattered bombardments. These attacks included targeting populated areas and vehicles, along with widespread destruction of buildings and infrastructure. Violations of the ceasefire, which has been in place since October 10, 2023, continue to occur. The strikes were concentrated in the northern and eastern parts of the Gaza Strip, leading to the killing of 74,237 Palestinians and injuring more than 175,000 since the start of the war. Additionally, 90% of the infrastructure has been destroyed. The Ministry of Health has warned of a collapse of health diagnostic services due to the destruction of over 52% of laboratory devices, coupled with a severe shortage of parts and spare equipment. This puts hospitals at risk of complete shutdown, increasing the suffering of patients amidst ongoing warfare and restrictions on the entry of aid.
