Israeli forces advance in Quneitra area

Israeli occupation forces attack the village of Al-Asbeh in Quneitra countryside in southern Syria, where they advanced into the area and announced the killing of a person who attempted to infiltrate targeting Israeli interests. The forces raided homes, launched flares, and flew reconnaissance drones as part of their operations focused on the "Sufa 53" project, which began in 2022 and has led to the destruction of agricultural lands and the deterioration of water resources. This comes amidst ongoing Israeli military escalation since the fall of Bashar Assad's regime and Syria’s reaffirmation of the withdrawal of Israeli forces from occupied territories.
