Israeli soldiers take selfie with Palestinian after killing

Social media circulated a picture of two Israeli soldiers taking a selfie next to a Palestinian corpse killed at the entrance of Bani Naim town east of Hebron. Sources reported that Israeli forces shot at a car carrying the young man and two others, resulting in his death and serious injuries to those with him. The image of the soldiers taking the photo sparked widespread outrage, with activists deeming it a violation of the deceased's dignity and reflecting boastfulness about killing. This raised questions about the message the individuals intended to convey through such an act. The incident is part of the escalation by the occupation in the West Bank since the start of the Gaza war, with ongoing assaults, killings, and arrests.
