Moscow Faces Large Drone Assault

Ukraine launched a widespread drone attack on Moscow, resulting in the death of one person and injuries to six others. About 650 drones were launched overnight, with 105 of them shot down, according to Russian officials. This is considered the largest attack in the past two years and led to adjustments in Russian airline schedules and restrictions at Moscow airports. Amidst the escalation, Kyiv expects a trilateral meeting with the United States and Russia in October, where the Ukrainian president urged Washington to push Russia towards diplomacy, as fighting and mutual strikes between the two countries continue to escalate.
