Britain palace abandons Andrew to face legal proceedings

Former British Prince Andrew, who was stripped of his Duke of York title, is facing legal proceedings related to his public role and allegations of contact with Jeffrey Epstein. He was detained last February and his homes were searched. Although he was released without any charges being brought against him, a legal review of the police procedures is currently underway, and he may be questioned before the court to face the lawsuit. The royal palace confirmed that the financial support allocated to him from the royal treasury is not being used in these proceedings, and that his legal defense is his own responsibility, managed by his lawyers.
