Yemen: Missiles Target Aden and Taiz

The battles in Yemen revolve around control of the mountainous highlands, the western coastline, and supply lines. Government forces are advancing in Taiz, Marib, and Al Jawf, while the Houthis are launching missile and drone strikes against Aden airport, which is a vital hub for supporting military operations. Coordination between ground and air forces helps the government troops make progress in multiple fronts, especially in Marib and Al Jawf, despite the mountainous challenges that require control of hills and elevated terrains to prevent targeting supply routes. The city of Taiz is considered a strategic center due to its connection to vital roads and supply lines; its siege threatens the continuity and expansion of Houthi operations. Aden holds importance as a military logistical hub and the first line of defense against missile and drone attacks, with the ongoing struggle focused on gaining control over areas of military and geographical significance.
