Sudan Displaced Attack Claims 41 Lives

Forty-one people were killed and others injured in a bombing targeting a displacement shelter in the Blue Nile region, according to a Sudanese legal group. The group accused Rapid Support Forces of carrying out the attack. The Sudanese Founding Alliance, led by the Rapid Support Forces, denied targeting the center, considering the accusations an attempt to tarnish its image following the victories it achieved in the region. Sudan has been experiencing a war between the army and the Rapid Support Forces since April 2023, resulting in the deaths of 59,000 people and the displacement of approximately 13 million. The urgent need for humanitarian aid persists for over 30 million people.
