Gaza: 9 killed, 117 buildings hit
During the past 48 hours, the Palestinian resistance movement in Gaza has been subjected to continuous Israeli shelling, resulting in the death of 9 Palestinians, including a child, and injuring 65 others. The Israeli airstrikes caused damage to 117 residential apartments, 12 of which were completely destroyed, and widespread damage affected approximately 819 people, with homes collapsing and the housing crisis worsening. This escalation occurs within the context of ongoing war on Gaza, which has resulted in the deaths of more than 1,481 martyrs since the beginning of the aggression in October 2023, with up to 90% of infrastructure destroyed. The cost of reconstruction is estimated at around $71.4 billion.
