Quneitra civilians worry over Sufa 53 construction

The Israeli occupation forces continue their escalation on the ground in southern Syria, where they have advanced into the southwestern Rif Damascus and Rif Quneitra regions. They have also persisted in excavations to build the "Sufa 53" pipeline project, aiming to impose control over agricultural lands and prevent demographic expansion. There are fears of soil and dam collapses due to the digging activities. The escalation includes daily incursions, artillery shelling, and expansion of excavation sites, resulting in the seizure of thousands of dunams of farmland. The project’s goal is to establish a barrier under the pretext of preventing threats from Iran. Meanwhile, Syria, along with Arab and regional countries, condemns these measures and demands the occupation forces withdraw from Syrian territory.
