Zelensky denies knowing of Trump energy ceasefire
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky confirmed that he was unaware of U.S. President Donald Trump's announcement of a ceasefire in the energy sector between Russia and Ukraine, and linked his approval of the truce to Moscow's consent. Meanwhile, Trump declared that Moscow and Kyiv had agreed on an immediate ceasefire in their ongoing war, calling on both sides to adhere to it and not to violate it. Trump also criticized Zelensky, indicating that he had not made enough effort to end the war, and suggested that Ukraine should choose a new leader capable of reaching an agreement.
