Attack Targets King Fahd Airport Saudi Arabia Ensures Energy Supply
King Fahd International Airport in Dammam has come under a new attack, as the General Authority of Civil Aviation in Saudi Arabia confirmed that the airport was targeted on the evening of Sunday, October 11, 2026, amid ongoing assaults targeting civilian aviation facilities in Saudi Arabia for several weeks. The nature of the attack, the responsible party, and whether there have been any casualties have not yet been determined. This comes after a previous attack on the same airport the day before, part of a series of attacks on Saudi airports in recent days that have resulted in casualties, injuries, and disrupted operations. These incidents occur amid an escalation of military actions by the Houthis against Saudi Arabia, as the group continues to target civilian installations and threaten airports, within the ongoing conflict that began when Saudi Arabia intervened in Yemen in 2015.
