The article discusses the expansion of Israeli sheep farms in the West Bank and how settlers use them as a means of asserting control over Palestinian land and displacing residents. Estimates indicate that sheep farms now occupy about 20% of the area, with approximately 200 new farms established recently, where flocks are used to reinforce the occupation's dominance over the land and prevent Palestinians from building and farming. This has led to the displacement of more than 100 Palestinian communities and violent attacks against Palestinian residents, including assaults by settler militants. While Jewish activists from groups such as "Children of Abraham" attempt to protect Palestinians, reports highlight that settlement expansion sparks political disagreements, especially with American and Israeli elections approaching. Israel allocates funds to expand and arm these sheep farms, despite international criticism of ongoing violence against Palestinians.
