Saudi Mufti criticizes Houthis' attack on civilian sites

The statements of Saudi Grand Mufti Sheikh Saleh Al-Fawzan focused on condemning the recent Houthi attacks on the Kingdom, describing them as some of the gravest crimes, surpassing mere targeting of civilian facilities and innocent lives, especially in the Holy Mosques. He affirmed that attacking Yemenis' sanctities and carrying out evil intentions in Mecca and Medina are among the most severe acts for which Allah has warned of painful punishment, citing verses from the Quran and prophetic sayings. He prayed to Allah to eliminate the perpetrators and to safeguard the countries of Muslims, considering the Houthis as a wicked group rooted in corruption and misguidance, posing a threat to regional security.
