Israeli digital espionage network expands

Investigations have revealed that the Israeli digital advertising company Discovery-Tech used a broad network of electronic ads to spy on users. Researchers were able to detect that the company's services provided access to Israeli companies and others listed on watchlists, extending even to ad platforms owned by Google, Comcast, and Yandex. This enabled the tracking of user identities and the extraction of their phone numbers across more than 120,000 websites and applications. This demonstrates that the online advertising sector constitutes a significant channel for widespread espionage, posing multiple security threats to all parties involved.
