Liberman Criticizes Eisenkot Over Alleged Plot with Netanyahu
The article discusses the attack by Yisrael Beiteinu party leader Avigdor Lieberman on Gadi Eizenkot, accusing him of secretly planning to form a government with Benjamin Netanyahu in order to reach power, rather than merely competing to win the elections. Lieberman points out that Eizenkot is focused on his party’s advantage over Likud in the electoral ranking, questions his intentions, and believes he has hidden motives to bolster his political standing. The article also highlights internal disagreements within the opposition bloc to Netanyahu and Eizenkot’s refusal to cooperate with the potential Prime Minister, providing evidence from his positions and statements that fuel Lieberman’s concerns about secret plots to secure access to power.
