Sudan, Egypt, Ethiopia Dispute War Roles

Representatives of Sudan, Egypt, and Ethiopia at the United Nations exchanged subtle accusations regarding regional interference in the Sudanese war, including the use of drones and the flow of weapons across borders. Sudan accused external parties of supporting the Rapid Support Forces, and evidence was presented of an Ethiopian drone being shot down in May. Ethiopia denied the accusations against it and emphasized that a lasting solution to the crisis must be led by Sudanese authorities and under regional supervision, warning of the risk of the conflict expanding and the humanitarian situation worsening.
