Hamas Official Confirms Al-Amoudi Injured

A leader in Hamas revealed that Ali Al-Amoudi, the political bureau chief of the movement in the Gaza Strip, was moderately injured in an Israeli attack targeting him at an apartment in the Al-Mina area west of Gaza on October 3rd, which resulted in the deaths of five Palestinians. Al-Amoudi was inside the apartment at the time of the strike but survived thanks to being in a side room, and is currently receiving treatment in a safe location. Reports indicated that intense flying of Israeli drones equipped with advanced intelligence technologies was behind the operation, which is believed to have targeted a high-ranking Hamas leader. This reflects an escalation by the occupation against senior Hamas figures in Gaza. Al-Amoudi plays a significant strategic role within Hamas; he has previously participated in internal elections for the movement's leadership in Gaza and is considered one of the security figures with extensive influence within the organization.
