Trump: Israel should keep Netanyahu

The article headline highlights Donald Trump's full support for Netanyahu in the upcoming Israeli elections, emphasizing that his victory is essential to ensure the continuation of their strong alliance. It warns that losing could lead the United States to cease supporting Israel in its confrontation with Iran and the nuclear issue. Netanyahu faces significant challenges, admitting that he does not trust in his chances of winning. He is calling for voters to support his Likud party, warning of the dangers posed by the opposition, which might allow concessions to Iran or the establishment of a Palestinian state—actions he considers a catastrophe. The campaign has also been marred by intense racial controversy following racist remarks against his opponents, amidst fears that the election results could bring about fundamental shifts in Israeli policy—especially since Netanyahu is currently on trial for corruption charges.
