Displaced Population and Houthi Attacks

The Houthi group in Yemen launched eight ballistic missiles at the city of Marib, which is home to over 2.2 million displaced persons and serves as the center of the Yemeni government and a key oil and gas production area, posing a threat to civilian safety and infrastructure. In October, they also targeted residential neighborhoods in the city with nine missiles, with no reports of casualties. Additionally, the group attacked a vital bridge connecting Taiz and Lahij, causing infrastructure damage and disrupting transportation and supply chains, with the Houthis fully blamed for the incident. This escalation comes as part of a military campaign within the framework of the "Fajr Yemen" operation aimed at regaining control over areas held by the Houthis.
