Trump claims French president ignored his advice
U.S. President Donald Trump stated that the United States is taking strong measures against Iran both economically and militarily, and that Tehran's situation is progressing well from Washington's perspective. He noted that Russia has not intervened in Iran so far, even though it could assist in the matter, and that the U.S. is engaging in negotiations with Moscow regarding Iran, Ukraine, hostages, and diesel. Trump criticized the performance of the Ukrainian president, accusing him of being unable to stop the war, and called on Russia and Ukraine to cease the conflict, pointing out that Washington has provided significant support to Ukraine without a clear payback. He also confirmed that French President Emmanuel Macron did not heed Washington’s advice, and that a meeting with Putin could be held in China.
