Rubio and Zelensky Talk for 45 Minutes

U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio confirmed that tensions are escalating between Washington and Kyiv, following a 45-minute phone call with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. He emphasized that military cooperation and intelligence sharing between the two countries remain unchanged, and that the Trump administration had issued no directives to alter that. Rubio described allegations suggesting that information about Ukraine has been withheld as "shameful" and "barbaric," while also expressing Trump's frustration over the lack of progress in peace negotiations. Additionally, Norwegian officials announced that Zelensky will meet with the American envoy in Oslo, in an effort to pursue diplomacy and end the war.
