West Bank clashes between Palestinians and settlers

The West Bank has witnessed an escalation in attacks by Israeli settlers during the olive harvest season, with more than 200 incidents since the beginning of September. These assaults have resulted in over 120 injuries and the damage of more than 2,500 olive trees. The attacks have ranged from sheep theft, raiding Palestinian homes, and cutting down dozens of olive trees, to violence against farmers while they were gathering their harvest. This has led to violent clashes between Palestinians and settlers, with the Israeli military using live ammunition against Palestinian youths.
