Make with ADNOC promotes local manufacturing

ADNOC is preparing to announce new opportunities to enhance local manufacturing within its project portfolio during the second edition of the "Make with ADNOC" forum, which will be held in Abu Dhabi on October 25, 2026, prior to the ADIPEC 2026 exhibition. The forum aims to accelerate the growth of the national industrial sector and support the "Make in the UAE" initiative by unveiling new manufacturing opportunities across various stages of ADNOC’s value chain. This initiative will strengthen local supply chains and encourage the expansion of national industries. The event will also highlight progress in implementing the "+Local" initiative, which requires contracted companies with ADNOC to prioritize products manufactured in the UAE. The goal is to reach a target of purchasing products worth 90 billion AED by 2030, supporting over 96 industrial companies and exporting more than 60% of their products. These initiatives have contributed to channeling over 307 billion AED of spending into the local economy since 2018, representing a strategic move to boost industrial competitiveness and support economic diversification in the UAE.
