German Cities Prepare for Student Protests

More than 20 German cities are preparing for student protests on October 31 to demand better education and the abolition of mandatory military service, with around 13,000 people participating so far. The German Federal Student Conference supports these protests, considering them a legitimate right to express demands such as improving educational infrastructure, increasing the number of teachers, and reducing class sizes. The protest movement is also showing solidarity with demonstrations in France and Italy, which have called for better educational conditions since September. Despite the risks of these protests being exploited by extremist groups, the German police are prepared to handle any potential acts of violence.
